My one goal for 2009
I’ve got to get out of this rut.
This, was the message that three days at the cottage sent to me.
I am a woman of ideas. Ideas, which I truly believe are good. But I have a short attention span. I dream up books, stories and business ventures, but they rarely come to fruition. I start blogs or books and then lose interest, get distracted or feel that I might as well give up now.
This, I know, is a terrible attitude.
But how do people stay motivated? How do they maintain the enthusiasm they started and see their projects through to the end?
This is what I hope to find out in 2009.

I’ve been thinking about relocation–not that I’d actually move to a faraway place like Asia again, but once in a while, I fantasize about life elsewhere. But where else, outsideĀ Canada, can you find an open minded culture, good opportunities for young media folks and respectable Chinese food?
I’ve also been on Twitter a lot. Find me @foxymoron and @TOfoodie. Also, I’ve started @cbcradio for The Corp. 140 characters is much easier to commit to.
